Prince George’s County, MDC DSA Projects

Our first  goal is to become county-wide – our membership is now concentrated in the North County and we plan to develop branch meetings and political-education events in other sectors of Prince George’s. We know what issues affect Prince Georgians and what is on their minds – housing affordability, good jobs in the county rather than requiring long commutes to reach them, and of course better mass transit to ease workers’ burdens and clean our air. We plan to press the county on educational improvements concurrent with the Blueprint reforms, and on democratizing county elections with small-donor Fair Elections implementation, now in the law but suffering from neglectful funding
