Prince George's County, MDC DSA
Prince George’s County, one of Maryland’s largest counties and the second-wealthiest black-majority county in the US, presents unique and productive challenges for its DSA branch. Recent and upcoming electoral wins of our endorsees are altering the county’s governance structure – for the first time, the County Council has a majority-millennial makeup and solid progressive majority. DSAers in the Prince George’s Branch look forward to further progress on these fronts, and on characterizing socialism as normal governance, not niche politics.
