Rachel introduces the agenda as well as meeting guidelines.
Stomp Out Slumlords Presentation
Stephanie, Evan, and Ana give a presentation on the Stomp Out Slumlords campaign and the DC Tenants Union.
Secretary Report
Ryan M gives the Secretary’s Report. Issues a correction on the necessary threshold for Resolution 20-07-R01 to pass which is a simple majority, not a 3/4ths vote as was previously published in the slack.
Chapter Updates
We heard reports on the upcoming chapter 2020 convention, branch updates from MoCo and NoVa branches, reports from the DC 2020 Council Working Group, the Defund Working Group, the Socialist Feminist Working Group, and the AfroSocialist Caucus.
New Business
Bob B presents on Resolution 20-07-R01. Questions and discussion take place. Ballots will be sent out in the next 24 hours.
