Climate change is worse than you think. Much, much worse. Join Metro DC DSA Ecosocialists and Extinction Rebellion for a talk called “Headed for Extinction and What To Do About It” on March 24 at 2:30pm at the Shaw Library. We cover the peer-reviewed climate science of runaway warming, which, if left unchecked, could cause societal collapse and human extinction. We’ll also be discussing how we can respond to the situation, both emotionally and practically. WARNING: Hearing this talk may cause existential climate dread and/or an overpowering urge to take action.
